YEA! Highland Park to Distribute More than $300,000

Yea! Highland Park and the Highland Park Community Foundation will jointly distribute more than $300,000 to more than 30 Youth, Education, Arts and Social Service organizations that serve Highland Park at the 5th Annual Combined Grant Awards Dinner, Thursday, Dec. 3, at Bella Via Ristorante (1899 Second St., Highland Park).

 

The public is invited and may purchase dinner tickets at Bella Via Ristorante.

The Highland Park Community Foundation which was started in 1989 as a charitable endowment organization and annually gives grants to organizations that serve the greater Highland Park community and whose programs enhance the quality of life of hundreds of individuals and families.

During the past 13 years, YEA! Highland Park, founded by former Mayor Ray Geraci, has raised and distributed nearly $3 million as a result of a close working relationship with Ravinia Festival and the City of Highland Park.  All monies raised by YEA! Highland Park are distributed annually to qualified organizations to assist them in carrying out their programs for the benefit of the Highland Park community.
