The New Foundation Center has entered the Winter 2011 GuideStar-KIMBIA Nonprofit Giveaway to win a $5,000 prize.
GuideStar is a leading source of nonprofit information, and KIMBIA is a group that helps not for profits and other organizations increase giving.
“If every supporter takes the time to write a review about what New Foundation Center means to them or its importance in the community, we can be a contender to win the prize,” says Mary Gallagher, Development Director.
Reviews will demonstrate the impact New Foundation Center is making on achieving their mission to work with people with serious mental illness to recover and pursue lives of meaning and purpose. Anyone can write a review—as long as they are not a paid employee of the center. This includes donors, volunteers, board members, consumers of services, and friends in the community. The reviews appear in New Foundation Center’s profile listed on GuideStar and GreatNonProfits, GuideStar’s partner. There is no charge to post a review and only one post per organization.
The contest begins on February 1, 2011 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, February 28th, 2011. The organization that has the most number of reviews posted on guidestar.org and greatnonprofits.org during this time frame will win the grand prize $5,000.
Write a review—for more information or see the official rules.
