A local health care mission through Causes for Change International is looking for volunteers, especially dentists, who can travel to Ecuador for a mission trip.
The trip will leave Chicago on June 17, 2011.
Who: Anyone can volunteer. Healthcare professionals especially needed. It’s helpful to speak some Spanish, but this is not a requirement.
What: Causes For Change International is looking for volunteers to travel to Ecuador to assist in a healthcare mission that helps poor children receive free medical and dental services. College students and adults are welcome. (Teens with parents are also welcome.)
Where: Ecuador (Accommodations are a modest hotel on a beach, and a bus transports volunteers to remote villages each day.)
When: June 17-25, 2011
Why: These children have never received health care before, and need help desperately.
How: Volunteers are responsible to pay for their own airline costs, and hotel/meal expenses for the week. The hotel/meal expenses are $375/week and are coordinated by Founder/CEO Zully Alvarado. (These expenses cover breakfast and lunch. Dinner is a separate cost.) Contact Zully Alvarado at zully@causesforchange.org to coordinate your flight plans. Or call 773-447-8500.
