Pet Tip: Halloween Pet Stress

pettip_duffy2Think of Hulie the Hound and Kit the Cat while you help ghouls and goblins prepare for their night in the neighborhood. You can put your pets in costumes, but it would be better to keep them away from the door and trick or treaters.

Some animal authorities think Halloween is the second most stressful night for pets after the bangs and booms on the Fourth of July.  But if you want to ignore this good advice and plan to let them greet the neighborhood children, be certain they are wearing a collar and ID tag in case they are bold when the door is open.

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute (about 15 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box ‘fund food for animals for free’. This doesn’t cost you a thing.Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. Here’s the web site! Please pass it along to people you know. http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/
