Adding a “shining little glimmer of hope into the lives of all who wrap the [bracelets] around their wrists” was the concept Nicole LaCross had in mind when creating her Chicago-based company, Wrist Wishes. LaCross was inspired to start the company in August of 2012 after her mother, Lynee, won the fight against breast cancer two times.
Wrist Wishes, sold on Etsy.com, donates 40 percent of their profits from every purchase directly to the charity represented by the particular bracelet. Original styles cost between $10-20 each and are handmade by LaCross. Organizations include Bright Pink, Bear Necessities, Flashes of Hope Chicago, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation Illinois Chapter, Heartland Animal Shelter, Lungevity and many more.
For the glam girls (and guys!), Wrist Wishes will be launching a luxe line August 1! Selling for $75-85, each bracelet is made of authentic Grecian leather with crystal accents and an antique silver clasp. Twenty-five dollars of each bracelet sold will be donated directly to the represented cause.
Because a portion of the profit is directly given to its partnered nonprofit organization, all sales are final.
