The Women’s Board of Lincoln Park Zoo hosted its 38th Annual Zoo Ball on July 10, and welcomed over 850 guests to the black-tie affair. Guests dined, mingled and danced, all to support the development of an innovative education center at the zoo. It is at this new center where the women’s board hopes to cultivate the next generation of conservation scientists. The women’s board’s mission is to raise funds in order to keep entrance to the zoo free and to support the zoo’s capital, conservation and education efforts.
Notable Chicago attendees included: Lincoln Park Zoo President and CEO, Kevin Bell; Chairman of the Lincoln Park Zoo Board of Trustees, John Ettelson; Board of Trustees Liaison, Tracey Benford; Brent and Katie Gledhill; Robert and Anna Livingston; Bob and Nina Mariano; Wendy Krimins; and Women’s Board President, Kim Theiss.
