The AIDs Foundation of Chicago works to bring together service providers and funders to develop systems that meet the needs of those living with HIV/AIDS and to maximize the use of scarce resources for treatments.
AFC celebrated its 30th-Year Gala at the Hilton Chicago on May 16, with over 680 guests present, and raised $400,000 to support the continued development of AFC’s HIV/AIDS advocacy, care and prevention services.
Actress Amy Landecker, of the Golden Globe award-winning series “Transparent,” served as the master of ceremonies for the event. Dinner was served by executive chef Mario Garcia event sponsors included Abbott Laboratories, Chicago Cut Steakhouse and Walgreens.
