The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), founded in 1954 as both a hospital and research facility, maintains its position as the leader in rehabilitative care and innovation with the help of its many supporters. One of these organizations is the Women’s Board, which provides both fundraising and volunteer work for the RIC.
On Tuesday, May 26th, 2015, the Women’s Board hosted a luncheon in honor of Dr. Henry B. Betts, one of the visionary researchers who helped make the RIC into the leading U.S. center for rehabilitation. At the luncheon, several RIC officers gave remarks about both the efforts of the organization and the legacy of Dr. Betts.
