“The Boy Who Saved My Life” Book Signing

In this inspirational page turner, author Earle Martin shares the story of how his autistic grandson, Charlie, profoundly changed his life.

Through describing his walk with Charlie and their experiences together, Martin not only shapes a beautiful story but also helps the reader reflect on a special friend or relationship that has had a significant impact on his/her own life. Winner of the 2012 Barbara Jordan Media Awards Book Prize, “The Boy Who Saved My Life” shares a true sense of what it is like to live with autism and the joy that individuals with autism can bring to the lives they touch.

Don’t miss Earle Martin as he discusses this tale of love and redemption at the Bookstall at Chestnut Court (811 Elm St., Winnetka) Monday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. Another discussion including a Q & A session and a book signing will follow on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest (700 N. Sheridan Rd.). Don’t miss this inspirational event!
