Miami City Ballet Returns to Chicago This November

Miami City Ballet

Nov. 8-9, 2018 | 7:30 p.m.

Miami City Ballet returns to the Harris Theater stage for the first time since its sold-out performances in 2016 with a stunning program spanning 20th century ballet.

Led by Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez, Miami City Ballet will perform three works spanning 20th century ballet. George Balanchine’s 1941 masterpiece “Concerto Barocco” will highlight the company’s classical pedigree, alongside American icons Twyla Tharp and Jerome Robbins’ 1984 collaborative work “Brahms/Handel,” and the Chicago premiere of “One Line Drawn,” a new piece by Harris Theater Choreographer in Residence Brian Brooks.

See why Miami City Ballet is hailed as “one of America’s most beloved ballet companies” (The New York Times) when this extraordinary ensemble makes its triumphant return to the Harris Theater, Chicago’s home for music and dance.

Tickets: $35-135
