Because we take our mission to amplify best philanthropic practices very seriously, we launched our Philanthropy Awards three years ago.
Since then, our Make It Better Philanthropy Awards have recognized 17 outstanding nonprofits in education, athletics, social service, arts, health and more—based on the results of voting by our Academy of Judges, made up of venture philanthropy experts and past award winners.
Winners receive vast and impactful editorial support across Make It Better’s multiple platforms, including a 4- to 5-minute high-quality video that brings to life the organization’s mission, exclusive training in philanthropic marketing best practices, proceeds from our upcoming Shop For Good, and multiple strategic networking opportunities.
Each year, we notify winners in mid-November as part of National Philanthropy Day and throw a big party to celebrate. This year, we invite you to help us find and celebrate an outstanding nonprofit by voting for our new “Audience Choice” Award Winner. The winner will be notified on Nov. 14.
