Better Makers: $700,000 Raised at Kohl Children’s Museum’s 30th Anniversary Gala

Roughly 450 guests gathered to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Kohl Children’s Museum on Oct. 17. The annual “An Evening to Imagine” Gala raised more than $700,000 to support the museum’s educational programming, exhibits, services for children with special needs, and outreach to children in low-income communities. Beginning with cocktails and hors d’oevres, the evening featured a silent auction, dinner, live music, and a short program honoring the Museum’s Founder’s Circle. The event was co-chaired by Erin and Brandon Beavers; President of the Museum’s Women’s Board, Bethany Crocker; and her predecessor, Sarah Alshouse.

In honor of the museum’s 30th anniversary, designer Matthew Burdeen has created a one-of-a-kind bangle bracelet that can be purchased through Shop For Good. All proceeds will benefit Kohl Children’s Museum.
