Better Makers: A Better Chicago

A Better Chicago is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving education conditions in Chicago for children in low-income neighborhoods. On May 14th, they hosted their annual benefit at the UIC Forum.

In addition to raising $1.7 million to benefit their grantee organizations, they unveiled a new strategic plan and launched their new website. There was also a presentation by CEO and founder Liam Krehbiel and a special performance by recording artist Ben Folds.
