Better Makers: Kohl Children’s Museum 30th Anniversary Kick-off at Burdeen’s Jewelry

Kohl Children’s Museum got its 30th Anniversary off to a great start with a kickoff party at Burdeen’s Jewelry in Buffalo Grove Sept. 16.

Burdeen’s Jewelry owner Matthew Burdeen created one-of-a-kind bangle bracelet and charms in honor of Kohl Children’s Museum’s anniversary. The bangles are available for purchase at www.burdeens.com/children and all proceeds will be donated to Kohl. Nearly $800 from bracelet sales have been collected as of Sept. 25.

Kohl Children’s Museum will be celebrating its 30 years with multiple anniversary events, including a gala Oct. 17. Find a full list of events by clicking here.

Make It Better is proud to be the media sponsor for the museum’s 30th anniversary. Kohl will be the beneficiary of a month-long Shop for Good event. Make It Better has also planned a day of shopping in Glenview on Nov. 2, when 10 percent of all proceeds from participating shops will go to the museum.
