Golf.Give.Gala.: Michael Phelps and Jason Day

Golf.Give.Gala., hosted by Olympian Michael Phelps and PGA golfer Jason Day, took place May 21-22 and raised half a million dollars for the Michael Phelps Foundation and the Brighter Days Foundation. The memorable and philanthropic event was held in the historically charming city of Saint Charles, Illinois, and was sponsored by ALE Solutions. The gala, featuring a silent and live auction, was held at Hotel Baker and a concert with country star Luke Bryan followed at Arcada Theatre. A celebrity golf outing then took place at Saint Charles Country Club.

“Golf.Give.Gala. is bringing together some of the most celebrated sports heroes and celebrities,” Phelps said in a press release before the event. “We are honored that so many people have committed to making this event a success. This will be a great fundraiser for us and will help us reach so many more kids with our life-saving programs.”

The Michael Phelps Foundation focuses on encouraging and educating children on the importance of being active and healthy as well as the possibilities offered through swimming. The Brighter Days Foundation works with generous organizations that seek to provide aid for families struggling with various economic situations.
