Better Makers: The Alzheimer’s Association

On Saturday, May 9th the Alzheimer’s Association hosted their 28th Annual Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala at the Hilton ChicagoThe black tie event attracted 865 guests and raised more than $1.3 million to help in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. This year’s theme was “The Best is Yet to Come,” in order to pay tribute to a future without the devastating effects of Alzheimer’s. The Alzheimer’s Association is dedicated to the advancement of research to provide and enhance care and support for those who are affected by the disease and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
