Childcare Network of Evanston (CNE) celebrates and honors early childhood professionals within our local communities with the Early Childhood Awards.
Since 1998, Early Childhood Awards have gone to teachers, family child care providers, administrators, volunteers, community leaders, or advocates who have provided leadership, innovation and commitment to the field of early childhood education. CNE extends an invitation to the community to nominate an outstanding individual who has made significant contributions to children, to their school, or to their community.
Nominations must be received by Friday, March 18. For those interested in nominating an individual, call CNE at 847-475-2661 or go to the “News & Events” tab at www.childcarenetworkofevanston.org to download a nomination form.
Award winners will be recognized on Friday, May 6 at a special Early Childhood Awards ceremony.
CNE designed the Early Childhood Awards to promote awareness within the community of the importance of early education and to enhance the understanding that all segments of society play an integral role in ensuring that all children have access to quality early childhood care and educations. Members of the community gather on May 6th to celebrate those who have dedicated their life’s work to the success of children.
