The mission of the annual Autohaus on Edens LAUNCH Spring Fashion Show is to raise awareness and funds for local not-for-profit organizations on the North Shore of Chicago. Every year a new nonprofit is selected to be the beneficiary of the proceeds from the event’s silent and live auctions and raffle. This year’s fashion show will take place on March 10 and benefit Humble Design, a nonprofit that serves families and veterans emerging from homelessness by transforming an empty house or apartment into a home — a very simple idea that can change a family’s future.
LAUNCH began in 2010 with a simple concept — to help not-for-profits raise money though an event where they could focus solely on fundraising without the challenges and expenses of finding a venue, food, design concepts, or event expertise. Autohaus on Edens President Michael Rosengarden‘s ambition was to be a good neighbor and offer his showroom on the North Shore along with all the value of a knowledgeable team of event experts and his local partnerships to create a free event that could support local fundraising.
2019 marks the eighth year of celebrating philanthropy on the North Shore through this fashion event and by donating all the proceeds to local nonprofits. Past recipients have included A Safe Place, ORT, Kellogg Cancer Center, The Winnetka Club, Glenview Women’s Club, Illinois Holocaust Museum, and PAWS Chicago. The 2019 beneficiary, Humble Design, turns dwellings into dignified and welcoming homes. They are not just furnishing homes, but are furnishing hope. More than 1,000 families have been served since 2009. Autohaus on Edens will also participate in a day of service helping a family on Feb. 9. More details are available upon request.

The showroom will transform into a dynamic catwalk and fashion hub with some fabulous surprises along the way.
Who: The Runway Show will feature a first look of what’s hot for spring from Payton Rose, Chantilly Lace, Peach Carr, and Frances Heffernan.
