Give Things: Local Clothing Swap Downsizes Closets, Promotes Green Lifestyle

Looking to clean out your daughter’s closet and give back to the community at the same time?

Green Glamour Clothing Swap, started by Lake Forest High School students Nina Demet, Grace Demet and Emily Lovell, is a gently used clothing swap for teens.

In an effort to promote recycling, reusing and to bring awareness to the Waukegan’s Battered and Abused Woman and Children’s Foundation, the three co-founders are hosting the second annual clothing swap at Lovell’s of Lake Forest. The event will take place on August 27 from 4 to 8 p.m.
