Quick and Easy: Summer Carnival

Take the family out to enjoy a summer carnival and support a great cause.

The Arts of Life is hosting its 2nd Annual Summer Carnival on Saturday, June 16th from 3 to 8 p.m. This year’s carnival features classic games like cakewalk and beanbag toss, as well as a dunk tank. You can get your face painted or have your caricature drawn by The Arts of Life artists, who will also be featuring more than 50 new works of art. There will be live music, and performances by magicians and clowns from the Ice Cream Team. Rounding out the entertainment will be a live auction, with all proceeds supporting The Arts of Life.

The Arts of Life is a Chicagoland arts organization for and collaboratively run by developmentally disabled adults. The Summer Carnival is a culmination of the Summer Leap, a 45-day push to raise $20,000 to ensure that The Arts of Life can continue to provide quality programming as their studios expand. The attendant with the highest donation will be crowned the King or Queen of the Carnival.
