The Cause: At the annual Winterfest event, A. Perry Homes collected almost 600 articles of winter clothing for Northwestern Settlement (NUSH). The donated clothing was distributed to students and families of NUSH the following week. Recipients were matched with clothing, and the NUSH team ensured everyone left with plenty of warm clothing. One young student was fitted with a jacket, scarf, gloves and boots; she loved them so much, that she wore them back to her classroom and refused to take them off! She said her feet have never been so warm. Many families who are served by Northwestern Settlement will keep warm this winter due to the generosity of the Winterfest attendees.
