Quick and Easy: Winterfest, Wine and Warmth

MAD-winter-fest-eventJoin A. Perry Homes for their annual Winterfest event and bring a winter coat to donate to Northwestern Settlement to help families in need.

When: Saturday, Jan. 26, 3 p.m. to late in the evening

Where: Tony Perry’s award-winning cottage home! 1203 Oak Trail Drive, Libertyville, IL.

What: A whole host of activities for family and friends, including sledding, ice skating, hockey, hay rides, hot cocoa, bonfires and tasty food prepared by local gourmet chefs.

Tickets: Free!

The Cause: Since 1891, Northwestern Settlement has been nurturing, educating and inspiring Chicagoland families in need. Northwestern Settlement’s families often do not have the resources to pay their rent or utilities, buy their children a gift or prepare a holiday meal. By donating winter coats, gloves, scarves, hats or boots, you can help these families stay warm this winter season. Bring clothing to the Winterfest event or, if you can’t make it, drop them off at the A. Perry Homes (564 Lincoln Ave., Winnetka).

Special Bonus: Those who donate winter clothing items at the Winterfest event or bring them by the studio gain free access to the Wine and Warmth event hosted by A. Perry Homes and Make It Better. Join us at the Winnetka studio Thursday, Feb. 21 for wine tasting, cocktails and appetizers to celebrate the season of giving!
