TrekWomen Breast Cancer Awareness Ride
Trek is organizing 10- to 25-mile casual, family friendly bike rides all over the country with the help of its dealers. Join in at On the Route, 2338 W. Lawrence, in Chicago’s vibrant Lincoln Square neighborhood, and watch the website for other locations.

Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Many people will be in pink, running in honor of a loved one or loved ones, at this cherished annual athletic frenzy.

American Cancer Society’s 2010 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Walks will be taking place throughout Chicagoland—at the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe, Independence Grove Forest Preserve and Visitors Center in Libertyville, and the AT&T Campus in Hoffman Estates.

Saks Fifth Avenue Key to the Cure Charity Shopping Event
The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Highland Park Hospital partnered with Saks for this charity shopping weekend, which kicks off with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on Thursday night. Saks will also offer a limited edition T-shirt designed by Donna Karan, available October 1. The full price—$35—will be donated to local charity partners.

Lynn Sage 25th Anniversary Benefit Luncheon
Proceeds from this event at the Hilton Chicago will go toward breast cancer research, fellowships and education programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. The guest speaker is actor Rob Lowe (swoon!).
