Born in Germany and currently living in Wilmette, jewelry designer Jutta Hilpuesch recently launched her Good Luck Elephant leather wrap bracelets.
Jutta’s business, The Lucky Elephant, stemmed from her passion for art and design and a sweet spot for the gentle gray animals. Each bracelet features a button closure or charm depicting an elephant with its trunk curled upward—a sign of good luck.
10% of the proceeds from Jutta’s handcrafted jewelry supports Urban Initiatives, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that works to involve public school students from the city’s most underserved neighborhoods in meaningful extracurricular activities, like soccer programs.
