We’re Hiring! Bookkeeper

Make It Better Media is seeking an bookkeeper to work at least part time in our Winnetka office.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing and payment of client invoices and work orders
  • Research and resolve problem invoices
  • Cash management
  • Tax preparation
  • Payroll
  • Run aging reports
  • Assist in the establishment/maintenance of procedures
  • Insurance
  • Employee benefits 1099, W2
  • Help manage department budgets
  • Sales forecasting
  • Enter invoices, and apply payments to accounts
  • Reconcile customer accounts and handle inquiries
  • Make bank deposits and perform bank reconciliation
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Assist with financial reporting

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field
  • Able to work within a collaborative small business environment
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks 2014 or higher, Intuit payments and Intuit payroll
