On Sunday, Jan. 31, 450 guests raised $130,000 at the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago 15th annual d’Vine Affair benefitting their self-sufficiency programs. In attendance were chair couples Joseph and Helen Glunz of Louis Glunz Wines and John and Erin Cohn, Executive Vice President/Director of Treasury Management at First Bank of Highland Park, as well as Catholic Charities President Monsignor Michael M. Boland. The event held a craft beer and premier wine tasting which showcased 250 different wines and more than seven breweries for guests to sample along with delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts all at the Union League Club of Chicago.
Chicago Catholic Charities have been helping those in need for more than 98 years and assist more than 1 million people “without regard to religious, ethnic or economic background as they journey on their paths to self-sufficiency.”
