The Chicago Humanities Festival celebrated its 26th Benefit Evening on Tuesday, September 15 at the Four Seasons Hotel. The evening featured an intimate conversation with president and CEO of the Aspen Institute, Walter Isaacson and president of Ariel Investments, Mellody Hobson. The 390 attendees present raised over $700,000 that will go directly toward the CHF’s mission to create opportunities for people of all ages to support, explore and enjoy the humanities.
The Benefit Evening was spearheaded by co-chairs John W. and Jeanne M. Rowe and Harrison I. and Lois M. Steans. Gala Planning Committee Co-Chairs are Allegra E. Biery (Region President,Wealth Management, Northern Trust) and R. Scott Falk (Partner, Kirkland & Ellis LLP).
