The Music Institute of Chicago has been bringing music to the North Shore for 82 years.
The month of March is Celebrating Music in our Schools Month. The Music Institute of Chicago (MIC) will be hosting several events on Saturday, March 17th, to help highlight the importance of music education for children of all ages. Throughout the day they will have family concerts, free performances and a collaboration between MIC and the Evanston Escola de Samba. Don’t miss out!
Since it was founded in 1931, the Music Institute of Chicago has helped thousands of people of all ages connect with music. Through the Community Music Schools, Academy, Institute for Therapy through the Arts and Public Performance Programs, MIC strives to provide their students with the foundation for a lifelong engagement with music.
