The coaching staff at the North Shore Baseball Academy reads like a who’s who of former North Shore high school greats. John Stutz, Jr. (New Trier), Pete Dallas (Deerfield High) and Derek Hall (Lake Forest High), but the free agents brought in are just as impressive including Steve Sakas who played in the Cubs organization as well as Jim Sakas, the winningest coach in Niles North High School history. The Highland Park and Libertyville facilities offer Iron Mike pitching machines, protective L screens, pitching mounds, as well as targets for hitting and throwing, in addition to private and semi-private tutorials.
