Celebrate the winter season at Lake Geneva’s annual Winterfest, which will take place Saturday, Jan. 26 to Sunday, Feb. 3.
This nine-day celebration offers more than two dozen exciting events and activities for all ages. There is more to do and more to discover every day you come.
Tour an ice castle; featuring ice-carved slides, tunnels, and crawl spaces, Ice Castles is a majestic treat for residents and visitors this winter season. These colorfully luminous and imaginatively shaped Ice Castles, which sprawl across an acre, are not to be missed.
Get adventurous and check out the Hovercraft Challenge on Jan. 26. Witness the nation’s most skilled hovercraft pilots competing against each other in a technically challenging time obstacle course. Those brave enough can take a ride in the hovercrafts and experience the speed firsthand.
And don’t miss the United States National Snow Sculpting Championship from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2. Watch teams of the most talented sculptors and artists from across the country create works of art and compete for a national title. The entire competition is open to the public, so Winterfest attendees can actually watch the artists at work!
If you’d rather stay out of the cold, there are plenty of indoor activities as well, with everything from magic shows, live music, and dance parties to wine tastings and cocktail workshops.
