Chicago’s newest art and science pop-up experience, the wndr museum (pronounced “wonder”), will feature the city’s first Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirrored Room, plus 10 more never-before-seen rooms by artists, designers, and technologists.

Movies in the Park: “Black Panther”
The DuSable Museum of African American History will host a screening of this Marvel movie in the Outdoor Sunken Garden.
Chicago Air and Water Show

This year’s headliners are U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights, and U.S. Navy Parachute Team Leap Frogs. Catch all the action from the Shore Club (beach-side brunch and open bar), The Patio at Café Brauer ($4 beers with any food purchase), Theater on the Lake (music, food, and drinks), The Signature Room (gourmet buffet and premium bar package), or Skydeck Chicago (a Picnic in the Sky).
Rent the Runway Chicago Sample Sale

Rent the Runway is hosting its first-ever Chicago sample sale, where you’ll find clothing, handbags, and accessories from designers like Diane Von Furstenberg, Badgley Mischka, and ML Monique Lhuillier for up to 90 percent off the retail price. The sale runs through Aug. 25 at Water Tower Place.
Kids Nature Funfest

Celebrate the great outdoors with the Lake County Nature Network. This free, family-friendly event will feature nature activities and crafts, live animals, a nature play area, a water wall, and more.
