2018 Wine & Beer Tasting

Support Winnetka Community House at this annual tasting featuring premium wine, craft beer, and food. Andersonville Restaurant Week

This Andersonville Chamber of Commerce event returns with more than 20 restaurants offering at least one menu item or menu for either $10, $20, or $30 per person. Participating businesses include Andersonville Brewing, Big Jones, Cescas Margarita Bar & Grill, The Coffee Studio, First Slice Pie Cafe, Hopleaf, Hutch American Kitchen + Bar, and Lady Gregory’s Andersonville. Chicago Flamenco Festival

For the 16th year, Instituto Cervantes of Chicago will celebrate Flamenco with local and national artists, film screenings, workshops, and more. It all kicks off on Feb. 23 with a tribute to Estrella Morena and performance by Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater.
“The Emperor’s New Clothes”

Your kiddos will love this family-friendly production from the creators of “Seussical,” running at Marriott Theatre through May 12. Each show is only one hour long and will be followed by a Q&A session with the cast.
Mirroring China’s Past: Emperors and Their Bronzes

The Art Institute of Chicago’s latest exhibit will feature roughly 180 Chinese bronzes, “some of the most distinctive achievements in the history of art.” This is a rare opportunity to see so many of these pieces together.
Give Back Opportunity
- Try a class at SPYRL in Highland Park while also making a difference. Through Feb. 28, the studio will collect diapers for the Diaper Bank Project of Catholic Charities. (Did you know that 1 in 3 moms in the U.S. report suffering from diaper need?) Sizes 1, 4, 5, and 6 are needed and diapers can be dropped off Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
