Chicago Cubs vs. Miami Marlins
What’s a Fourth of July weekend without some baseball? The Cubs are in town and will celebrate with Budweiser Bleacher Fridays: Red, White and Brew on July 3 and post-game fireworks on July 4. You can also catch some minor league baseball and fireworks in Geneva at the Kane County Cougars game on July 3.
Chicago Botanic Garden Art Festival
Not only can you spend time strolling the gorgeous grounds of the Botanic Garden this weekend, but you can also shop for photos, paintings, jewelry and more works from 100 juried artists. You can then bring your kids to the family activity tent, where they can show off their own creativity. The Members’ Preview will be July 3.
