This annual festival celebrates its 10th year with more than 10 blocks of retail, art and food vendors, two music stages, a fashion show, the Family Fun Fest and more.
World Environment Day

Chicago Botanic Garden hosts this day dedicated to learning more about conservation and sustainability. Families will love performances on the Esplanade and drop-in activities throughout the Garden. You can also hear from a variety of experts, including WGN’s Tom Skilling.
Redhead Days

Calling all redheads! Celebrate “50 Shades of Red” with a Carrot Cake Throwdown, The Playground Games, giveaways, live music, food and, of course, Ronald McDonald. Plus, stay for the chance to break the world record for the largest gathering of redheads in a photo.
57th Street Art Fair

The oldest juried art fair in the Midwest takes place in Hyde Park this weekend with artists from across the country selling jewelry, photos, paintings, ceramic works and more. Plus, you’ll find music, demonstrations, food and kids’ activities.
