Piven Theatre Workshop will present a staged reading of “Waiting” with cast members from Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD, including Sophia Bush, Monica Raymund and Marina Squerciati. The event will benefit Piven Arts Programming at YWCA Evanston/North Shore and Cook County Jail Women’s Division.
Shamrock Shivers Polar Plunge

Dress up in your best green outfit before jumping into Lake Michigan at Forest Park Beach. Proceeds from this event will benefit Lake County Cares, which is celebrating 50 years of connecting residents with more than 200 nonprofits.
Pilgrim Chamber Players
The Pilgrim Chamber Players, celebrating 20 years, will welcome Chicago Symphony Orchestra Principal Cellist John Sharp as a guest performer this weekend. The concert will include music by Beethoven, Villa-Lobos and Tchaikovsky.
