Another school year has (almost) come and gone, so celebrate with these events.
Start the weekend by doing some good at the Evanston Green Ball before checking out the new iFLY experience in Rosemont. Then, get outside with festivals in both Chicago and Deerfield, or avoid the heat with a musical perfect for children.
Evanston Green Ball
Support the Evanston Ecology Center with this evening of eco-fashion and live music. Food and drink will be provided by some of the area’s best restaurants, including The Cellar, Farmhouse Evanston and Goose Island Beer Company.
iFLY
Do you want to know what it feels like to skydive, but you’re not quite ready to jump out of a plane? You can now skydive indoors. iFLY opened in Rosemont this past Friday, so if you can’t stop by this weekend, be sure to make it a part of your summer plans.
Do Division Street Fest

May 30 to June 1
Chicago
This festival has a little something for everyone. Fashionistas can stop by the Fashion Fest and Sidewalk Sale, music fans can rock out with live bands, and kids can enjoy Family Fun Fest.
Deerfield Festival of Fine Arts
Browse the work of talented artists from around the country while also enjoying live music from Aryk Crowder, Kraig Kenning, StringFusion and more.
Peter Pan Jr.
Beat the heat with a modern telling of this favorite tale, which is perfect for younger audiences.
Looking forward…
