Opens Nov. 27

Rosemont transforms into a winter wonderland this Friday when the ice skating rink opens with free sleigh rides, ice sculptures, a visit from Santa, a tree lighting ceremony and more. And don’t miss the opening of Polar Peak, a two-story tube hill, on Dec. 11.

Wonderland Express

This is a favorite can’t-miss event for families. This year’s Wonderland Express will include new features like the Maggie Daley Skating Ribbon, Writers Theatre, and CBG’s own Spike and Alice the Amorphophallus.

Chicago Trolley Holiday Lights Tour

Bundle up and hop on a trolley for a magical holiday tour around Chicago. Stops include Christkindlmarket and Zoo Lights at Lincoln Park Zoo (also opening this weekend!), but you’ll still see Macy’s holiday windows, the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park and more.

Whether you visit Winnetka, Central Street in Evanston, West Town WinterFest, or your own town’s Small Business Saturday event, you can feel good about supporting your community. ’Tis the season for holiday music, but now’s the time to hear carols, Hanukkah songs and popular favorites a cappella style. This is the first performance of many by Chicago a cappella throughout the holiday season.
