Every year, we ask you, our Better readers, to vote for your favorite local businesses and organizations in our annual “Best of Chicago and the Suburbs” competition. This is our 12th year of asking you to join us in celebrating the people, places and businesses that make our community so vibrant, and wow did you show your support in droves this year!
We received a whopping 157,817 votes in 2022 — an astounding 33% increase over last year. From restaurants, hotels and theaters to architects, builders and designers; salons, boutiques and fitness centers to deserving nonprofits, these businesses, organizations and individuals are making an impact not just on you and your family, but on our community as a whole, and your votes help to lift them up and bring them the recognition they deserve.
