Jane Fulton Alt is a fine art photographer in Evanston who has exhibited her work widely. Photography buffs will find inspiration in her blog, “On Life, Love and the Creative Process,” such as the photo essay “Crude Awakening” she created to raise awareness for the gulf oil spill.

A James-Beard-award-winning website by two ‘tween girls in Evanston and their families, this site is a great resource for kid friendly recipes, and recipes the whole family can cook together! There are videos, as well as links to current article on cooking, health, nutrition and kitchen safety.
Featured in our Mama’s Gotta Have It kitchen appliance story, Amy Miller writes about and photographs eclectic dishes from her everyday life. She’s an avid cook who spent many years living in Italy.
The “Lazy Cook Crazy Cook ” concept is the brainchild of Lazy Cook Dr. Cathy Kapica and Crazy Cook Liz Barrett, comparing the ideas, recipes, tips and techniques of someone who hates to cook but does so occasionally to eat well, with someone who loves to cook and does it for fun and entertainment.
