This after-hours event will feature pop-up animal encounters, a DJ, food, a special Pride pineapple margarita, and more. And mark your calendars: Shedd Aquarium will offer free days for Illinois residents June 17-18 and 24-25.

Craft Brews at the Zoo

You’ll have the opportunity to sample craft beer (more than 150 will be available) throughout the Lincoln Park Zoo grounds while also enjoying food and lawn games. The zoo will also host a Father’s Day BBQ Brunch on June 16.

For the second year in a row, Navy Pier will host this Latin arts and music festival with a vinyl record fair, panel discussions, and more.

This festival, which has been named “Best Food Fest” five times and was highlighted on the Food Network, will feature delicious food and drinks from 30 vendors as well as live music.

Not only will you have the chance to dine on tasty tacos and sip cool cocktails at this brand-new event, but it will also benefit Chicago Canine Rescue.

More Can’t-Miss Events:

  • PAWS Chicago, Chicago English Bulldog Rescue, Heartland Animal Shelter, Tree House Humane Society, and Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue will come together for the Angels with Tails Winnetka adoption event June 15. You’ll be able to meet adoptable animals at 34 retailers and along sidewalks throughout Winnetka.
  • Favorite Evanston event Custer Fair will return June 15-16 with more than 300 artists and vendors, live music, theater performances, and more.
  • Lincoln Common will host a Father’s Day community event on June 16 with mini golf, corn hole, Jenga, and more games, plus ice cream from Mon Ami Gabi and cookies from Summer House Santa Monica.
