Hard to believe it’s only been a year since the devastating fire that closed the beloved Kaufman’s Deli; it feels like an eternity since I had a really good corned beef sammy.
But fear not! Kaufman’s is back, better than ever.
The new build out—necessitated by the fire damage—is modern and clean, with an expanded kitchen and some new menu items (like serve yourself soups, single-portion entrees, and more). Owners Bette and Judy Dworkin are thrilled to be back in business for their loyal customers, and Kaufman’s is again back on my go-to list. Now please excuse me while I go order a smoked fish tray for the holidays!
