Be a Force for Change and You Could Win the Ultimate Star Wars Experience

Force for Change

The Force is strong this weekend, as Star Wars fans from around the globe converge in Orlando, joining stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Billy Dee Williams, Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid and more, for an epic 40th anniversary celebration of the classic film franchise. Whether you’re a self-professed Star Wars nut, or just have a nostalgic love for the epic series, this is the perfect contest for you. The cast of “The Last Jedi” wants you to become part of their latest Force For Change charity fundraiser. All of the funds raised from the contest will benefit UNICEF and the Starlight Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit that works to bring entertainment and joy to sick kids at more than 700 hospitals and clinics across the country.

The amazing prizes include:

  • a trip to Skywalker Ranch in California (plus a tour of the Lucasfilm archives, a stay at the B&B on site and a screening of the 1977 movie!)
  • an invitation to join the cast at “The Last Jedi” premiere later this year (and the exclusive after-party!)
  • a visit to the set of the upcoming Han Solo movie where you’ll even have the chance to appear in the film!

You can enter to win any of these prizes (although one incredibly lucky, randomly selected fan will win all three) over the next four weeks. Just enter at omaze.com and cross all your fingers — or just use the Force.

The Star Wars Force For Change foundation has raised more than $13 million for a number of nonprofits, including $8 million alone for UNICEF’s children’s programs. One of those UNICEF programs has even visited Chicago — their Kid Power program helps students in the city and around the country get up and active while giving back to hungry kids around the world (with the help of R2-D2, naturally).

“Chicago has been so supportive of UNICEF Kid Power, empowering our kids to get active and save lives,” says Elizabeth McCostlin, Regional Managing Director-Midwest, UNICEF USA. “Every bit of support, every tweet and share on social media, every step taken with a Kid Power Band has allowed UNICEF to provide more than 6.4 million packets of therapeutic food for severely malnourished children. We’re so thankful to everyone that’s been a part of this lifesaving journey to-date. With famines, conflict and other challenges looming for children – UNICEF will continue to put children first, supported by Chicagoans, and all Americans, in the process.”

If this contest is exactly what you need to make your dreams come true, then go enter here right now! The raffle will only run through May 11, so may the Force be with you.
