The Shedd Aquarium Auxiliary Board invites you to a night of celebration at BLU: Behold the Beauty! This year, BLU highlights the new special exhibit, Underwater Beauty. From 7 p.m. to midnight, you’ll enter a world of shimmer, color, pattern, and rhythm, where jellies pulse, eels ribbon, and a rainbow comes alive with reef fishes.
During the evening, you’ll also enjoy sips and tastings from Chicago’s top restaurants, a special musical aquatic presentation with beluga whales and Pacific white-sided dolphins, and dancing on the outdoor lakeside terrace, with spectacular views of Lake Michigan, the city skyline, and fireworks from Navy Pier. If you want an early start to the fun, choose the VIP ticket to enter at 6 p.m. and enjoy an exclusive animal encounter and socializing in a private terrace lounge.
