Biking in Peninsula State Park, one mile from the White Gull Inn.

4. Your Accommodations:

Dine in style at Aerie, located at the top of the resort’s tower, with spectacular views of the bay. Then head into Traverse City’s warehouse district to check out the microbrewery scene, starting with Right Brain Brewery.

3. Preferred Drink:
Wine from one of the state’s 80 wineries; while in Traverse City, check out the nearby wine trail on the Old Mission peninsula (michigan.org).
