Your Child Could Be Tiny Tim in Goodman’s ‘A Christmas Carol’

"A Christmas Carol" at Goodman Theatre in Chicago

Have an aspiring actor in the family? Goodman Theatre is holding open auditions on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for their 39th annual performance of “A Christmas Carol.” Children ages 5 to 17 of all genders and ethnicities are welcome to audition for the four younger roles: Tiny Tim, Emily Cratchit, Belinda Cratchit and Turkey Boy.

Registration takes place from 8:30–10:30 a.m. at Goodman, and works on a first-come, first-served basis. Actors are asked to prepare a poem or monologue, sing a verse of a song, and bring a photo/resume.

“A Christmas Carol” runs Nov. 19 to Dec. 31 at Goodman Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn St., Chicago. Tickets go on sale to the public Aug. 12.
