We all have one. That holiday cookie recipe that we make every year and claim is the best in town.
This year, it’s time for a little recognition…enter your best holiday cookie recipe in our 2014 Cookie of the Year contest! Post your recipe, photo and a quick description of your cookies to our Facebook page by Wednesday, Dec. 17. The description should include: the source of the recipe if it’s not your own, why it’s easy (or why it’s worth it to power through) and why it’s delicious.
The winner, who will be announced mid-month on our website, will score a cookie-themed gift basket complete with cookbook, gift card and more.
You’ll be baking those cookies anyway for holiday parties and cookie exchanges, so why not snap a pic, share the recipe with our Facebook community, and win a great prize?
Skip the fancy cut-out shapes and elaborate decorating if that’s not your style. We want a cookie you can make with your kids without the risk of an inappropriate word or two slipping out of your mouth. (We’ve all been there!) But don’t send us recipes that start with “Open a log of pre-made cookie dough . . .” We want easy, but we still want a cookie we can be proud to serve.
Time to get baking!
