Better Makers: The Cove School Raises $500,000 at Annual Benefit Gala

On Feb. 25, The Cove School celebrated its 70th anniversary during its annual benefit gala at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel. More than 550 attendees raised $500,000 for the school during a fun-filled evening that featured a silent and live auction, dinner and dancing. Debra Johnson of Barrington chaired the event, while corporate sponsorship was led by Allan and Karen Grane of Elmhurst. Board of Trustee member Scott I. Canel of Highland Park was honored with the school’s annual Prism Award.
