The 61st Annual Gold Coast Fashion Award Show, hosted by the Children’s Service Board on Sept. 21, raised more than $1.1 million for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s Division of Hematology, Oncology, Neuro-Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation.
The event was held at Revel Fulton Market, where guests dined on hors d’oeuvres from A Tavola, Davanti Enoteca, Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, Michael Jordan’s Steak House, The Dunk Inn and more local restaurants. The fashion show then featured a competition among emerging designers Chris Gelinas, Michael De Paulo, Nha Khanh and Wai Ming. Guests voted Michael De Paulo the winner of this year’s Gold Coast Fashion Award.
Afterward, guests participated in a live auction and were wowed by a Neiman Marcus fashion show. The night ended with cocktails, a dessert bar and music by DJ Eddie Mills.
The Gold Coast Fashion Award Show sponsors were GCM Grosvenor with Schuyler and Jonathan Levin, Reed Smith, JHL Capital Group LLC, Jones Lang LaSalle, The PrivateBank, CBRE, Hearn and Turner Construction, among others.
