On June 20, the League for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association’s annual fundraiser raised over $825,000 for the league’s creative and educational programming. In total, the CSO hopes to receive $5.5 million in corporate donations in 2016.
Television, film and Broadway-star Kristin Chenoweth joined the CSO as this year’s special guest with conductor Mary-Mitchell Campbell and sang songs from “Wicked,” “The Wizard of Oz” and “My Fair Lady.”
Attendees included 150 Chicagoland music teachers and students, and corporate guests who represented CSO’s corporate partners. League Trustee Thomas F. O’Toole chaired the 2016 Corporate Night, and Barbara Zutovksy served as event chair.
