On March 10, 750 guests attended the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab opening gala, raising $8 million toward the new hospital. Guests like Shirley and Pat Ryan and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle mingled and enjoyed dinner across six of the hospital’s floors. Guests also explored the new AbilityLab in a live tour led by members of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, showcasing the new spaces and state-of-the-art technology. The Shirley Ryan AbilityLab will officially open on March 25.
